Our Services
We offer a range of comprehensive services you would expect from a progressive first opinion practice. From routine health checks and booster vaccinations to long term treatment plans for chronic illness. From nail clips to orthopedic surgery.
Consultations
We offer both vet and nurse consultations. Initial appointments are 15 minutes long
If, on an initial consultation, we find that we need more time to investigate a problem in depth, for example with blood tests, or blood pressure check, or ophthalmological exam, we will book an extended consultation, or may suggest that your pet stays with us as an in-patient for the day.
We have four veterinary surgeons on staff, and are happy to make you an appointment with the vet of your choice, enabling as far as possible, continuity of care.
We also have four registered vet nurses across our two branches who are all happy to see you and give advice where appropriate.
Alongside our usual consultations, our RVN’s also run nurse clinics. These can be booked as single appointments or as part of a long term care plan. For example, weight clinics, behavior clinics, or puppy weigh and worm clinics.
Our database links our two branches, so whichever one you visit, we can pull up your pet's clinical record.
Facilities
Our Upton and Wareham branches have full surgical and dental facilities, with in-patient care.
Home Visits
If you prefer a home visit, or if you are unable to bring your pet to the clinic, we have our own pet ambulance. Where possible we will do our best to come out to your home, although there are occasions when it may be difficult to arrange same day visits. There may also be times when the vet feels it is in the interest of your pet to come down to the surgery for treatment.
